A delay in providing assistance during a heart attack, stroke, or other critical conditions often results in fatalities. In many cases, the timely arrival of medical professionals could save lives. Our client set out to solve this problem. Their task was to develop an intuitive mobile application that allows users to quickly receive qualified first aid and automatically call emergency services. The app would display the victim’s location on a map and provide information about their condition in multiple languages for tourists. According to the client’s vision, calling an ambulance should be even easier than ordering an Uber
Our team was tasked with developing the server-side of the application. Using ASP.NET Core, we designed the API and database structure. We created an extensive tree of localized symptoms and integrated the system with Robo-voice for making emergency calls. Mechanisms were developed for redirecting international calls and locating the nearest qualified specialists. Additionally, we implemented a system for automatic risk level assessment, real-time tracking of injured people’s and responders locations, integration with KYC procedures, and a manual verification mechanism. Finally, we integrated the application with payment systems
The application gave citizens across several EU countries instant access to emergency medical assistance. By providing guided first-aid instructions and enabling quick ambulance dispatch, the system made critical support accessible in moments when every second counts

We implemented the server-side of the application turnkey
We implemented a customizable risk level assessment system, configurable by the administrator
We integrated a robotic call system
We implemented call forwarding through local telecom operators using short numbers, based on the region of use (from a pre-defined list of supported countries)
We developed an algorithm for determining the required specialization of the emergency response team

The project began with business analysis to refine the client’s vision into a working product. Our team developed a server-side platform using ASP.NET Core, designed the API and database, and created localized symptom trees for accurate triage. The system was integrated with Robo-voice for automated calls, payment systems for service monetization, and telecom operators for regional call forwarding. A risk-level assessment engine, real-time tracking with SignalR, and an admin portal were implemented to ensure seamless operations. The mobile app was delivered on both iOS and Android, providing a fast, intuitive interface for users in life-critical situations
